Welcome to PeriPause, a perimenopause symptom tracking application operated by The AI Equalizer LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PeriPause website, mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Medical Disclaimer

You should always:

• Consult with qualified healthcare professionals before making any medical decisions
• Seek immediate medical attention for any urgent health concerns
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by PeriPause

We do not assume any liability for actions taken based on information provided through the Service.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation: You must create an account to access certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

5.1 Subscription Plans: PeriPause offers the following subscription plans:

• Monthly Plan: $9.00 per month
• Annual Plan: $79.00 per year
• Lifetime Plan: $149.00 one-time payment (limited availability)

5.2 Free Trial: A free 14-day trial is available for new users prior to signing up for a paid plan. No credit card required. Paid plans do not include a trial period and will be charged immediately. The free trial does not auto-renew into a paid subscription.

5.3 Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal amount.

5.4 Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.

5.5 Refund Policy: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable after the first billing cycle. To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected].

5.6 Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply upon renewal.

6. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation:

• No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods
• Your data will be retained according to our Privacy Policy
• You may reactivate your subscription at any time

10. AI-Generated Content

PeriPause uses artificial intelligence to analyze patterns and provide insights. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated insights are based on algorithms and may not be accurate
• AI recommendations should not replace professional medical advice
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• You use AI-generated insights at your own risk

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data
• Any medical decisions made based on information from the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
